Why Is The Philippines Poor?
THE DIFFERENCE
The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is not the age of the country:
This can be shown by countries like India & Egypt , that are more than 2000 years old, but are poor.
On the other hand, Canada , Australia & New Zealand , that 150 years ago were inexpressive, today are developed countries, and are rich.
The difference between poor & rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources.
Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, inadequate for agriculture & cattle raising, but it is the second world economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw materials from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.
Another example is Switzerland, which does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate in the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year. Not enough, they produce dairy products of the best quality! It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order & labor, which made it the world's strongest, safest place.
Executives from rich countries who communicate with their counterparts in poor countries show that there is no significant intellectual difference.
Race or skin color are also not important: immigrants labeled lazy in their countries of origin are the productive power in rich European countries.
What is the difference then? The difference is the attitude of the people, framed along the years by the education & the culture & flawed tradition.
On analyzing the behavior of the people in rich & developed countries, we find that the great majority follow the following principles in their lives:
1. Ethics, as a basic principle.
2. Integrity.
3. Responsibility.
4. Respect to the laws & rules.
5. Respect to the rights of other citizens.
6. Work loving.
7. Strive for savings & investment.
8. Will of super action.
9. Punctuality.
10. and of course...Discipline
In poor countries, only a minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.
The Philippines is not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel to us. In fact, we are supposedly rich in natural resources.
We are poor because we lack the correct attitude. We lack the will to comply with and teach these functional principles of rich & developed societies.
If you do not forward this message nothing will happen to you. Your pet will not die, you will not be fired, you will not have bad luck for seven years, and also, you will not get sick or go hungry.
But those may happen because of your lack of discipline & laziness

I guarantee you that you will not see me posting in many threads like this because the opinions from people can be touchy, but this is how I feel:

I am very happy for those who do well in life and I am very sad for those who do not and I am MEGA SAD for those who suffer from illness or terrible things that hit their life beyond their control.

I personally think that the whole World is starting to fall apart becasue of the World political circle, and the Attitudes that are starting all around the World for the many different issues!

Some people say that there is Real life and then there is the Internet! I say....the World Is the Internet and people will soon see that!

I think that the key to the whole World getting along and maintaining a stable financial being is for people to spend more time communicating In the Internet rather than listen to what you hear on the news and basing your life on that solely because most of what you hear is full %^$#* anyways!

I spend 80% of my life on the Internet and I feel a whole lot safer here than in the mainstream public!.....Yes, even with the dangers that you find in the Internet.

Bottom Line:

I think that if people found a common ground with communicating directly with other people all over the World we could all help stamp out the control that the Political circle has over all of us and become a majority to change a few things!

Don't get me wrong...I respect my Government but I don't agree with some of their tactics!

I think that We in the Internet need to be our own Governement and create a way for us all to communicate and take care of ourselves through our own channels such as niche forums or whatever as long as we can find common ground in which to be friends, businesses, or whatever!!

And yes, a good attitude and trust would be very Key to everything working correctly!

I can clearly say the poor country government are scammers they always eats the money from hard earned peoples
our is government is too corruptive they even leave the prison from jail for a bribe

here the more pyramid schemes are running where the police or the govt doesnt take care at all because they may get a bribe

Corruption alone doesn't make a country POOR!

There are in fact a lot of reasons, on different sectors and it varies on every level.

If you will study a country's Political, Economic, Demographic, Social and Other statiscal data, and compare it to other countries' statistics you'll find out their differences. Thus, will be able pin-point where does the poor performances are coming from.

Don't blame it all to this politicians themselves. It's the system that is corrupt.

the philippines is poor because it lacks efficient and good officials..i think corruption is present in all countries,they just know how cover them with good projects for the people. the main problem with the philippines is the corruption rate is massive.its officials are focused more on how much of the budget will be kept on their pockets..if only they will lower their anomalies to 50%, philippines will have a good economy.
