My thoughts....

It's A Done Deal!

They have no choice!

If they mess with MSN, they will take it to a proxy vote, AND WIN!

Plus, it is a known fact that Yahoo is slowly dying anyway, which MSN will fix quick and i'll bet the stockholders would feel the same way with it's under valued price at the moment!

I also feel that it is inevitable for the Microsoft takeover. When tens of billions of dollars are involved, everything else gets thrown out the window

It's fascinating to see the "takeover" type approach of Microsoft, who at first was an unsolicited offer, and now a deadline for action. It would make Microsoft even seem a bit desperate in their battle against G, which will probably still win out in the end since they have far better resources and reputation than M$ does. Should be interesting to see them try though.

Looks like Yahoo is seeing its last stretch as an independent company. Microsoft seems to be very arrogance about buying them over.

Yahoo does makes a point that they are underrating them. Why would Microsoft buy a company unless it had some substantial profit to gain.
