ddBoard and NamePros are both very good ways to get free .com domains. Both require you to get a certain amount of points and then you can get your domain. ddBoard requires a lot more points but they are very easy to obtain (one incentive gives 2/3 of the amount required for a domain). NamePros requires less points but incentives offer much less.
