God knows what is going on with PayPal and/or NEFT or some holly cow!
Sorry boss, i do not have the solution for either of you guys sb225 and teherek.
But, instead, i have the same problem as you have faced and hence would like to record it here as collaboration and sharing is the only way for individuals to stand up against any organizational disturbances.
I have PayPal account and i transfered a small amount of money to my AXIS BANK account on 24th April, 2008 to test the withdrawal system and it gets recorded in my bank on 28th April, 2008. Very good.
Then on 4th June, 2008 i tried to transfer 10,000 INR to bank as i was convinced from past experience that it must be transfered within 4-5 days. But till now, 11 June, 2008, nothing has happened except PayPal showing "Completed" status next to the transaction.
Before contacting AXIS BANK representatives i emailed PayPal about whether they can provide me some more detail information about the transaction. As i didn't have the concept of NEFT and role RBI etc i was not able to ask specific information from them (and as i read from this thread, asking specific question will be resulted in same frustrating outcome).PayPal replied promptly, but with one liner stating that the fund left PayPal and 4-5 paragraphs about how to withdraw amount form PayPal. After receiving that email, i am pretty much convinced that these guys is not going to give any help to me.
To be honest, i do not what to do now, that amount is really big for me and that is going to be lost for some unknown reason that i will never get to know. Neither PayPal nor the Local Bank will be going to share any information.
sb225 , if you get reply from PayPal and got your fund back into your PayPal account, can you drop us few lines?
Any reply will be of of huge help.
