I hate to advertise here but we have a Brand New website at
www.blupalicious.com in which it will be a MEGA powerful network and we will NEVER use no-follow atts. for sure!! It is true though for sites like Stum to generate some traffic if you can get in to the main stream!! You should be in as many as you can though to benefit your sites, afterall, that is what Google said that they want!! People managing people in networks!!
